Buying off a website can cause unease but hopefully the information below will give you peace of mind when ordering from Sparkly Nails.
Hi, I’m Ali…
I started Sparkly Nails in 2004 after getting frustrated because I couldn’t get all the supplies I needed to complete a beauty course. Thinking others may also be missing out, I invested what was left of my student loan and set up the Sparkly Nails website.
A lot has changed since 2004, including having two children and recently moving into a dooer-upper house (which is why you won’t see my nails for a while… they’re usually covered in paint or grout!) Throughout the last 16 years, Sparkly Nails has continued to thrive. From me winning the South Devon ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ award to being asked to talk to aspiring business students at South Devon College on how I started my business and made it grow.
I now stock a vast number of nail art supplies which all started from one range of products – gems, I’ve provided tutorials on how to use the products and make sure Sparkly Nails is ahead of the fashions, with our amazing mica products currently being ‘on trend’.
In the press..
Back when people bought magazines, Sparkly Nails was a regular feature in the fashion magazines such a Vogue, ASOS, LOOK, Company, Now, Shout, Mizz, Chat and Grazia. We have even been featured in The Times. We’ve been on This Morning and our nail wraps were shortlisted in the South Magazine’s Beauty Awards. Click here to view all press coverage.
