Arrived this morning and have already applied it over some gold polish and it looks beautiful. So easy to use and looks so stylish.

This is the first foil I’ve ever used. It is great over a pale nude or even a French polish. Probably excellent over any pale creme or metallic. Once I’d realised I hadn’t looked at the instructions properly, these were pretty straightforward to use. You really really need to rub firmly all over the nail for ages then the backing does just come away. I ended up using the barrel of a dotting tool when I got bored with the cuticle stick. The side with the design was the inward face of my roll – it was nearly impossible to tell so I resorted to using a little remover to test a corner (obviously more came off on the design side). Once I’d worked that out, it was easy with cut pieces and they curled the same way as the roll and the inward face was always the ‘place down on the nail’ design face. Silly errors I made before getting it right: Not having completely dry polish underneath. Not leaving the glue long enough to dry – just clear wasn’t enough. It worked best almost entirely dry. Giving up rubbing too soon and trying to peel the backing off before it had separated over the entire nail.

Absolute Rubbish! Does not work as the video states at all, adhesive is useless and all foil I bought was a waste of money. REPLY FROM SPARKLY NAILS: Foils aren’t always easy to get the hang of but with some patience and practice you will. The foils & adhesive do work when used correctly!

hi, this was my first time using foils and it works a little differently to expected – mainly because of the perfect tutorials out there today making it look a million times easier than it is. I followed instruction on the website and seems clear enough, however I have not been able to get a full nail done without breakage or fault. I need more practise and patience. I wouldn’t completely rule it out just yet. the only thing that confused me is which way do I place the foil on the nail – no front and back given… or do both sides work?? REPLY FROM SPARKLY NAILS: thanks for feedback. Will consider putting labels on foil to say which way round it goes for the less obvious ones! x

This is my first time using foil. Followed instructions and it turned out well. More practise needed. Was some mistakes made. But best to leave adhesive at least 3 mins as stated. Lovely product.
